​Smart Trolley Lock for NTUC FairPrice (2020)

Even though most customers return the supermarket trolleys after using them, there are still thousands of abandoned trolley cases every year.

The smart trolley lock enhances the current trolley renting system by enforcing the customers to rent the trolleys under their name and they will be charged for the rental after more than 2 hours of use. The supermarket is also able to track the location and the usage of the trolley via their company dashboard.
